If Iran gets a nuke. they could give it to some terrorist group. that group could smuggle it in to NY harbor and blow up most of NYC. Or they could bring it in through mexico and blow up LA. There would be no clear trail to Iran. So who would we retaliate against?

It would put us in the same position we were in after 9-11. Targeting a country for the crimes of an organization. The people will have none of that shit anymore. We have tied ourselves up in our own propaganda and left ourselves without options.
Paul will not make that any better. He'll be hiding under his desk with his musket waiting for the enemy to arrive.
