Looks like the GOP's internal poll numbers have scared them silly.
The first thing I thought when reading the headline was, 'Someone is panicking.'
It's like Wile E. Coyote and his dirty tricks to catch the Road Runner always backfiring.

Lol...good analogy. The more they try and anticipate events, the dumber they look. I guess they have to try, though...and in an off hand way do have an effect on the final result. For better or for worse.
