Makes sense.

If we're looking at manual labour, being obese would definitely weigh (no pun) against you being employed. The fact that you're obese in the first place, suggests anything other than an active lifestyle. And it wouldn't be too much of a stretch to suggest that the same mindset that allowed someone to become obese in the first place, would be an extension of their attitude generally. The same attitude that would preclude advancement in most (if not all) vocations.

I can hardly imagine a 20st slob possessing the drive and determination to succeed, in a fast-paced environment of higher earning potential. Obviously there are exceptions, but generally, sloth and success do not go hand-in-hand.
