MANY JURISDICTIONS TAX SUCH FOODS AT RETAIL, TOO.

In my dealings with women on welfare, there is no knowledge of nutrition. They look towards convenience. There's the one dollar menu at one of the fast food places. One of my clients didn't even know where vegetables came from except cans ....REALLY! Now admittedly they had no paycheck what-so-ever except for their welfare grant, but once they gained employment they didn't miraculously have knowledge of basic nutrition or how to prepare low cost meals that would actually help their children thrive and they to become healthy.
