We don't have wolves here. We annihilated them a long time ago, using cudgels.

We have foxes and badgers. I've seen a lot of those. The foxes are nervous of man. They don't hang around for long. Can't say I blame 'em really, being that they're killed on sight by farmers and rich fucks with more more then sense. I'm so glad the government closed those scumbags down.
We have foxes, the young ones are cute. We used to sit at the kitchen window and watch them play. They kept the rabbit population in check. We do have too many damn white tailed deer. Too goddam many. Ugh. Hugh rats with antlers who sharpen them on your trees and kill them and eat all of the good stuff in your garden and leave the weeds.

Now, that's a good project for genetic engineering....make it so they love mugwort and japanese knotweed and garlic mustard and bittersweet.

Am I ranting?

I hate having my morning coffee when it's still pitch black outside.
