The radio added that the convoy consisted of six vehicles.
Security sources confirmed that the leaders of these vehicle, who have not been identified yet, were heading towards the border with Mali.
Al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb earlier claimed responsibility for the attacks and kidnappings targeting mainly Westerners in this region. I'm shocked.

I mean I figured after we rid the world of that evil ol' kadaffi-boi.....that it would be sunshine and lollypops over there!
