We are supposed to be the term limits. Enacting a hard cap is total laziness.

Wouldn't laziness also apply to an elected official turning his service to a people into a lifelong career just so he doesn't have to get a real job? Perhaps it's come to the point where they need a contract babysitter. Besides.......do you really think that after the 2008 election we have any hope of doing the right thing? Think about this upcoming generation. Sure, sure, there are smart 20 somethings out there.........but I truly believe the ignorant have the better of the balance. The majority of them are still sucking of the teet into their late 20's and can't seem to find their way out of mom and dad's basement other than to occupy a city park and whine about successful people. Perhaps a baby sitter is needed for a little while at least. I don't know about you, but I can see the forest through the trees, and NO, I don't have much hope for the foreseeable future of this world. Just my own humble opinion.
