Are you talking about forced separatism, or voluntary separatism? You are free to associate with whomever you want. Do your thing and be happy. But there is no call for government sponsored separatism, ever.

And there is no cause for gov sponsored desegregation either, and we have that.

1. busing ( which was a total disaster I might add)
2. quotas for public housing in 98% white areas.

The gov sticks their nose into just about everything we do insisting that we mix and match. They need to butt out.
