Sooooooooooooo, no work, no free money. the other benefit would be getting all of the thugs off the streets during the day, and tiring them out so they would sleep at night. the crime rate would drop like a stone.

1. Most people looking for jobs are average joe's, not thugs. Thugs rob banks and mug you.

2. Most states DO require State Tax to be paid on unemployment.

3. Who cares when anyone sleeps? STOP MICROMANAGING EVERYONE'S LIVES. THOUGHT YOU WANTED LIMITED "GOVERNMENT"?

4. Unemployment used to be for a MAX of 28 weeks.....now it's more. What year did that change?

5. Many unemployed CAN'T EVEN GET IN THE DOOR BECAUSE JOB ADS SAY..."ONLY CURRENTLY-EMPLOYED WILL BE CONSIDERED". How do you like 'them discriminating apples?". WAKE UP!
