Day 3 was travel across the park day. I previewed this day from the park while there.

Rocky Mountain drive across the park

Before Rocky Mountain National Park was even established, Old Fall River Road was the way throught the Rockies. A 9 mile drive on gravel road begins at the Endovalley Picnic Area, and ends up emerging at the Alpine Visitors Center on Trail Ridge Road some 11,000 ft up.



Some neat stops along the way include Chasm Falls


and just about every other place, by the end of the ride it was time to have lunch along the colorado river, more on that next
