You need to go one further. Try to become a precinct committeeman and start affecting the process. Get your friends to join up and start changing who gets nominated at the local level. Encourage your friends in other districts to do the same thing. That's the only way to take it back. I'm working on it now. The local party isn't keen on new blood and is very slow to respond. Fuck that, as soon as I get in the door I'm taking that bitch over.
Yeah, I actually re-registered at a stand run by the local GOP committee at a street fair in my hometown. Got to talking to the guy about getting involved in the party. So we'll see what happens.
