Every totalitarian government starts out with promises of peace, protection and prosperity... this one is no different. Once we give up our rights and soveriegnty, it will be to late to fight it and they will do what every regime in the past has done. They will begin to enslave the population, kill those they don't like, kill or imprison those that do not agree with them. Then they will turn to population control as they have already said that the ideal population size for global sustainment should be around 500 million people. In other words, they are worried that we are running out of oil, so they want to preserve it for the elite.
