If there's a lesson to be drawn from this, perhaps it's not that Perry is too stupid to be President.. Perhaps it's that a college credential doesn't make you smart?

Some of the dumbest fuckers I've ever met had letters after their name. They couldn't actually think pro-actively, if their lives depended upon it. The majority of learned folk have only their prescribed textbook scripts to draw on. They can't think outside the box, as they're not even aware there is one. Place these witlings in a crisis that doesn't fit their parrot-fashion nonsense, and they quail in trepidation.

At that point, you'll often find that it's left to folk with no formal erudition, to bring forth the creativity that's required.
