Ramadan dates change yearly, as the Gregorian calendar is not followed. So this year, Ramadan ends within a day of August 30, 2011 with the DAY OF POWER - Eid al-Fitr occurring the night before, August 29. The belief is that prayers and 'actions' on the Eid al-Fitr are amplified to God..............
Right, no eating, drinking, or sex during daylight hours, then party down at dusk, eat, drink, screw, and smoke the bubble pipe til dawn, then begin the self deprevation again.

I have been in arab lands during ramadan. everyone is pissed, hungry, thirsty, tired, and grumpy. not any fun.
