The US was founded as a Republic, however somehow democracy took hold. Presently, we don't even had that. What's the answer? What should be done?
And no, we are not looking like National Socialism, what we're experiencing now is near communistic and it's only going to get worse.

I'm not even going there with you and Germany....YOU are biased with good reason I suppose.

I am biased against nazi Germany because of the cost it took to bring it down and the fallout it caused. Jews were only one of hitler's targets. His aim was to rule the world with his twisted ideology of a master race.

The US was, and is, a Republic. We were never a democracy. Yes, I agree with you about communism taking hold, accelerated by the magic negro, but only partially his doing. I feel there will be armed conflict, unrest, rioting and civil war here because, like Greece and Spain, severe cuts will have to be made to get our economic disaster under control. EVERYONE will feel the pain.

The start of our recovery will need to be scaling back entitlements and the military. That would be a great start. We may need to bring most of our troops home to stop the escalating costs of Obama's war mongering.
