I agree there is going to be some sort of civil unrest, but I think it'll be squelched by the UN. We're basically screwed.

No argument from me except the American people will NOT concede to the UN. I guarantee it! How many of us are sick to death of the UN?

The UN has been completely ineffective at stopping civil unrest in Egypt, Greece, Spain, a half dozen rag head nations and at stopping terrorist activity against Israel. Why would anyone think for a second that they would even commit troops to the Continental US?

Hitler's ideology was doomed to fail because it depended on a constant state of war. he knew exactly what he wanted to do a decade before they put him in power. It took massive effort, mostly from the US, to put him down like a rabid dog. AND, if hitler was as interested in winning the war as he was killing Jews, he would have won. hitler held up troop and supply trains to make sure Jews got to the camps.
