It depends.. I think they're the only hope the R's have.

I think they saved them from having to repudiate the Bush years.

I think a bunch of folks want to roll them into the GOP.. If that happens, then they'll fail.

But what else can they do but try to infiltrate the Rep. party and try to change it from within. (Which is what they are doing.)
It doesn't look like America's going to be ready for a third party for a long time.
