I've pointed this out several times over the last few months. Jason Lewis and Glenn Beck have repeated it ad infinitum. Liberals point to the tax rates, they steer well clear of the actual spending. The Depression did not end until after the war. Massive spending cuts that led to smaller government gave people a good reason to put their money back to work, and of course the absolute destruction of the rest of the world made us the world's manufacturer.
