Politicians have gotten the impression that they are above the law and it cannot be laid at the doorstep of one specific party. They need to be reminded that they are glorified civil servants that work for the people and are answerable for their misdeeds.
We trust them to make laws that bind us....and they do it with our money. That's A LOT of responsibility and trust. That's a lot of power.

I think some of these people, elected officials, law enforcement, judges, etc.....get so used to the 'special' treatment they receive, that they stop living in the same world that the rest of us do.

A few life sentences, or executions should remind them. After all.......no one is FORCING them to take on all those responsibilities. They do it for the power......not for some deep seated desire to 'serve the public'.

If they want the power, they have to set the standards.
