Your concern about the old guard Pubs is valid. But just look around at what is going on in Wisconsin. This is huge! And other states are going to follow. Even NY might join in and they have a Dim governor who wants to be president.
There are also a few dozen states that will outlaw nObamacare. That's another welcome sign that the youngbloods have a lot of support.
I think Wisconsin is the place to watch though. The outcome of this battle will determine the state of politics for generations. And it will shape the Repub party.
That's all fine and good.. Those newbloods and the tea Party are the only reason I bothered to vote for them.

Decades of let downs have a Pavlovian sort of effect on anyone who bothers to compare their rhetoric with their actions.

For YEARS it was "Well, gosh golly.. Those retched democrats are stopping our agenda! If only we had the power, we'd do something but, gosh-golly.. We just can't!"

When they finally got the whole ball of wax, they spit in our faces and threw it away.

George W Bush and his country club pals presided over that and nearly destroyed the Republican brand. Currently, the only thing preventing outbursts of laughter when they speak of "The Constitution" and "Limited Government" is the Tea Party.
