The Obama administration on Tuesday called on Congress to back a six-year, $53-billion investment in high-speed, intercity rail, saying it was "dreaming big" on reinventing US infrastructure.

53 Billion eh?

Sheesh...it'll create 11 million jobs.....reduce carbon emissions across the board by 61%, lower the transport cost of goods, reduce inflation, and cure cancer.

53 billion is chickenfeed for all the good that will come from this. Who's obama trying to pay off with this one?
