His brand of populism is cheap. There's no ramifications for laughing at Washington. It's easy to be a Daily Show politician.

Actually solving problems and doing the job (Chris Christie comes to mind) that's where the rubber meets the road.. and that's where a guy like Stewart would fall short.

IMVHO.
I agree with most of that. Stewart has a lazy man's role. He can point fingers all day long without having to do a damned thing. More importantly, he doesn't have to prove a single thing he said is true! But his audience eats it up because they're lazy too.
Stewart and nObama are much alike. They can read script very eloquently. And they have a captive audience.
