No actually I don't think one's religion defines their intellect, or anything else for that matter.

Maybe it doesn't define their religion, but it sure does define their attitude toward other people. Jews think they are closer to God than the angels, and they are supposed to rule the world while using the "goyim" (non-Jews) as their "step-'n-fetchits."
Their religion tells them they are better than the rest of us, and they believe it literally.
