If Steyn is right, there's almost no hope for Detroit.

Talk about upside down.

I saw a house there for $300.00 once.

Yeah, but you wouldn't buy that house even for $300.00 because it's in the middle of a wasteland.

There would be hope for Detroit if it was populated by rational people instead of a vast tribe of lunatics.
