In truth, there's a big portion of the Republican establishment who would love the guy. They're terrified of anything resembling democracy or responsibility.

They're the party that happily sat in the cold for a half a century.. All they wanted was a place at the trough.

Give them a little government $$$ to pass around and, as far as they are concerned, everything is FINE.

To be honest: Many every day republicans and democrats have more in common with each other than they do with their own party elites..
