lol.. Yeah, kind of..

But it's indicative of how screwed up things are right now. NOBODY is happy. Not the left, not the right.. Everyone is pissed as hell and it's a little surprising considering that there can be no knock down victories with Congress divided and Obama holding the veto pen.

It can't happen.. So, there is going to HAVE TO BE some compromise. The left doesn't seem to get that. Obama's wacko base are just expecting him to steam roll everyone and force their agenda through regardless.. Forgetting that THEY LOST and things are only going to get worse in January..

The Republicans, meanwhile.. I dunno what their problem is. Seems like this is the best deal they're going to get, and they're still not happy.

Maybe it's a tactical move?
Not sure. But I have listened to the whiners on left wing radio. It's highly entertaining as they call for mutiny if the President supports this.
Far right radio is much the same. Mike Church thinks the Pubs caved and the TEA Party is flacid. Basically, he's saying the debt remains the same because the Dims already spent the money on the upcoming healthkare laws. So, if there are no proposed cuts, we're still fucked.
I'm still holding out hope for the cuts. The Pubs said they would attack and repeal the healthkare bill. It's a tough job but something must be done to reduce debt if the tax rates remain the same. Certainly the economy is not growing fast enough to bring added revenue to the govt.
