Apparently so, and it needs to be ended. We who pay the taxes are being robbed to pay for these lice to have their every want met. Forced charity, which is what welfare is, is not only immoral, it is criminal. It is my hope that one day the only people who can get any sort of "assistance" from the robbery of the taxpayers by the thieving government will be aged, disabled widows who can show they have no source of income whatsoever, including family members, and then the minimum to keep them alive would be doled out to them on an individual basis per their needs. No more food-stamps; excess government cheese and other basic foods like flour, meal, powdered milk, etc. would be issued on a stringently monitored system overseen by taxpayer's representatives. Anyone attempting to abuse the system would be imprisoned for an appropriate time and a second offense would result in a much longer term. The same rules for any other type of "government" (taxpayer) assistance would apply. We have to start making it harder for the lazy, scheming parasites who have made a way-of-life from using the present system to be put out of commission for good.
