He's trying to toss the GOP a hand grenade.

They should take whatever is given.. and press for more later if they want it.

If they queer this because a couple of percent aren't included, it will send a bad message.

They would be right to do so in many respects.. But the optics are bad.

It will look like they're playing all or nothing with the fortunes of an already overburdened middle class.

Which is what Obongo is counting on..

Wonder what they will be willing to trade for that extra couple of percent of the highest earners?
