Just think how much safer the Universities would be if the majority of the students could shoot back.

Seriously . . . Don't you think a criminal will be less likely to pull a gun on someone, if they think the people around him might be armed too?

Criminals don't care if they get hit with a gun charge, because they are criminals. Gun laws just keep them safe from everyone they terrorize.
