what "right" employees have to unionize AT ALL? All unionization is, is communication. Employees getting together and saying, if ones fired, we're all fired.
If all the Engineers that live in an area join the same Union, and agree to either all work with their respected demands, or all quit (Which as you said, they have the right to do).
You don't like the job.. Pay.. Benefits.. Hours.. Whatever. Then you LEAVE. This is how it works if you hire Non Unionized help, which is an employers choice. The problem with Non Union work is that they are often unskilled.
If I graduate from college, and I can join a Union and make twice as much as just going and getting a job, why wouldn't I join the Union? Unions are workers collaborating just like management and ownership is allowed to.
Where I do disagree with this, is when these people start trying to make laws. That is where they go too far.
