You act as if famine was the fault of socialist leaders and simply not a natural phenomona. It'd be like blaming communism for a tornado.

The difference is in communism, the state will help you find a new home and relocate you. In capitalism, you're fucked unless you have out of state family willing to take you in. Which still doesn't stop you ALL from being homeless from you now lacking work.
