The only thing it does it slip some power away from the politicians and give it to the judges, which is not any better, but not any worse.

For example A conservative politician in office, could imminent domain my house and give it to a condo company, because he and the company share the same conservative viewpoints of business coming first.

But unlike liberals MOST conservatives respect the constitution while MOST liberals view the constitution as a roadblock to their utopia. Believe me, if they could take our guns away they would do it and enslave us all into an Orwellian Stalinist society.

Beyond the Patriot Act show me where conservatives ATTACK the constitution or attempted to ban documented individual liberties.....
