Yes, Yes Persians are White. It's believed that make 51-60% of the Iranian population, but I would take these figures with a grain salt.

Being a Persian/White person is very big with Iran these days. I've heard many stories of Azeris trying to claim Persian lineage and of the Ethnic Cleansing, etc...even the media is really biased towards Persians.

Iran's case is the same with South America. The Whiter you are, the more Superior you are, and here we see Mestizo's claiming to be White, or even Full blooded Indians claiming to be Mestizo...
