Its a staple. I grew up on hotdogs, fried onions and ketchup from chelmsford market. It truly was the highlight of the shopping trip.

If you want to stick your head in the sand and deny a culture as economically potent as your strongest state, which would also bury you in culture, then so be it.

I dont doubt America, or Philly for that matter, has a lot to offer the world. But take your blinkers off for a minute and look at the bigger picture

Fwiw I could kill for a philly cheesesteak, that looks right up my gastronomical alley.
