Funny thing is, starting in high school I've given blood a few times (not in recent years as my fear of needles became a bit more pronounced, which is a shame as otherwise I'm willing) and for whatever reason, I was never asked if I was gay. Not directly, not indirectly. Perhaps the Nevada Blood Bank was willing to turn a blind eye to a blind policy? Really? So you think it's more important that you get what you want than it is to respect the patients who have no choice?

How would you feel if you got infected, and passed it onto someone else unknowingly?

DROSe, I'm sure you are a great person, but please, don't ever do this again, ok? You are putting other people's lives at risk.
