The only reason there were Russian peacekeepers there in the first place is because Russia strong-armed the UN into placing ONLY Russian troops as "peacekeepers". Let's not pretend it was a neutral force sent by the UN; it was an imperialist force that twisted the UN's arm to operate exclusively.
