I may have misremembered the posted limit, but you're wrong in that it was 205 and there is a stretch that is 70 MPH:

But as I said, I was going with traffic. I don't know about CA, but Oregon has a rule that you can't be cited for speeding if you're going with the bulk of traffic.

They would have to have pulled over everyone.
