Rush is not really religious. I think the divide in the teabaggers is the same as the divide in the republican party, economic liberals dividing from social authoritarians. Alot of social authoritarians are trying to get their hands on this one-sided (economic) party. As far as I can see, it has fractured like the GOP. They now offer General Feel-Good Tax Reform, with Flat or Fair(tm) options, as opposed to blatently supporting HR25. That's largely a political compromise to get some thumpers. Just like the democrats who cannot stand on a fundamentally contradictory platform (liberal social and authoritarian economic), they are fragmented. Now is the time for a third party... How about Green and Libertarian; if we can get 5% in a general, we get equal TV debate time for the next election.
