Interesting article. I like how he has isolated verbal IQ as a more predictive metric.

Yes most of his articles (the ones I've read so far) are quite iluminating. Its much easier to comprehend as an explanation for why East Asian capitalist economies don't do that much better than Western European capitalist economies than some vague notions of "conformity" or "creativity".
