It was a slave state which almost joined the Confederacy. So was Delaware for that matter. You honestly believe I'm unaware of this?

It was only that Tennessee got impatient and sent an Army north to encourage it to join the Confederacy that pushed them to ask Lincoln for help. Like Virginia it was a border slave state but a slave state none the less. Hell, even in a place like Louisville you still see lots of red necks wearing the stars and bars. I don't know what's funnier, a yankee lecturing to a Canadian about the evils of the south, or a Yankee claiming moral superiority on the issue of slavery. Look, Yankee, we banned slavery long before y'all got in on the action.

Why don't you go carpetbag. Be careful you don't run into a tree with your nose in the air all the time.
