Jrabbit, we now have these things called CDs and MP3s that allow people of our generation to listen to music you could only hear when you gathered around the radio with your family, presumably to listen to FDR's fireside chats. It's a magical time.
Amazingly, FDR was dead by the time I was born. Much like your relationship with Keith Moon.

It just struck me that virtually every tune mentioned was from the late 60s and the 70s. (And it appears from this thread that virtually all the great rock songs were done by the Stones, The Who and Led Zeppelin.) It's deja-vu for me, as I had many discussions remarkably similar to this at the time it was all happening.

But I see we've morphed into a Clapton: God or Not? discussion...
