His map for that leg of the journey doesn't seem very practical. Maybe he's taking the ferry from Rupert to Port Hardy. Apparently the new one is very nice, and probably won't sink. That's what I'd do, because what kind of idiot would go to Prince George? Depends on whether he wants to do the Cassiar. That's a very desolate area.
