Its not the runway space I am worried about, it is the air corridors.

The seven o'clock entrance goes out into the New York Harbor and the one o'clock entrance looks out itno a long approach corridor along the East River. If that is too long, rotate it so you have a Hudson and East River corridor, whatever. The mountain is replaced by the Manhattan city scape. Problem solved.
