As they say, over at the Monastery -- "We are all children of the same universe." A good line. It includes those who don't like talking about God.

It is difficult, sometimes, to celebrate the diversity with people who believe that they have the truth -- and the rest of us need to be brought to that truth -- from our error. Very difficult. Interfaith breaks down in the face of "my truth and your superstition."

Most of the people in the ULC -- all of the ULC -- try very hard to make Interfaith work. Alas, some of our family think that tolerance means that they can proclaim their truth -- and everybody else' error. Sometimes, it is best to celebrate the diversity from a distance. (Not my line. It came from a Star Trek book.)
