I could trawl amongst my books and give you chapter and verse
but it's 0300 and I'm fairly well oiled and it would take me past the weekend
so I'll try and keep it brief.
If you look at the panoply of gods of ancient cultures they are actually all the same
but with different names
no culture existed in isolation
The one change that occured in Egypt was the end of pyramid building
Pyramids are stars, a connection to heaven. They were recreating heaven on earth.
This ended after a 20 year drought and religion changed because the gods let everyone down.
Shiva is worshipped in parts of India as a phallus bathed in milk!
I think the Indus valley is probably the origin of earthly civilisation.
Developing during the last ice age if not before (yep,12,000 years ago)
Like I said elsewhere, the Heavenly father impregnating the Earthly mother. (with meteorite sperm)
Original religion is all about sex, bonking, deities getting their leg over.
Have you seen the frescoes on the hindu temples?
The original blue movie.
Some ancient Greek temples (and other contempory cultures also)would be classed today as
brothels.
The hypocritical Romans created the temple of Vesta in response to this.
