I think the difference is. If I work for an established church, in some way I always find I have to compromise myself by having to adopt established practices. However, if it was a universal ULC type church then there would be no established beliefs or practices of the church because they would adopt to whoever is using the church building. It would not get in the way of my personal journey and allowing others to follow theirs and would not feel like work or that I was compromising in anyway. In fact it would feel like fun. A bit like a ULC forum.
