Some excellent answers here folks!
Madgael and Tina...and anyone else with an ocean fetish...I never have felt at peace with the ocean...to me it's angry, loud and violent.
Isn't it funny how different we are...and still we're the same...(oh man...how profound did you expect me to be anyway??? LOL)

I can understand you feeling that way about the ocean.

For me,I have always felt that in part it is my home away from home.I cant even swim.
Almost drowned twice.Cant explain it other then I gain peace.

Maybe I was a dolphin in one of my past lives.
