I understand that Iktoma (ick toe may) [the name given by the Lakota peoples, probably spelled it wrong

] is the creator of the world. It spun the universe together and created the link to all of creation, seen and unseen - thus the web of life.

It is also the creator of our language, it spun the first letters and sounds for humans to understand, it is also the trickster...think that is all that I know about it, other than I let them live in my house to catch all the little creatures that "bug" me..so to speak.
