I have often thought this as well.
I even take it so far as to imagine that some of us are white blood cells (helper or "fixer" cells) and others are red blood cells...the ones that carry on the everyday processes of the body. The Red Cells are extremely important to the everyday function of the body and they are plentiful. Sometimes something goes awry though, and White Cells, which are fewer in number, yet very powerful and complex, come rushing toward the Red Cells to either a) fix the red cells or b) destroy them to protect the body.
