And, if my memory serves me well, all religions have some form of entity that is greater than man, regardless of what name they attatch to it.

And, from somewhere I have heard that all men are created equal in the eyes of God.

So what's the problem?

Some want to be 'more equal' than everyone else. They want to be able to say "God/dess loves me more than you." They think that it's a competition, "I'm holier than thou." They don't understand that there is enough love to go around several times over.
